Welcome to the 2009 Door Prairie Duathlon website!

This year's event is set for May 31, 2009 in the same location as last year. 

Set in beautiful Silver Lake Farms in Rolling Prairie, Indiana, the Door Prairie Duathlon promises to be a great way to start off the multisport season.  The event combines a challenging trail run with a fast road bike course through the rolling hills of northern Indiana.

The format is a "run-bike-run" event that starts off with a 3.1 mile trail run, followed by a 12 mile (2 six mile loops) road bike ride and finishes off with a 3.1 mile run on the same trail as the first run.

Please note:  As a result of very high lake levels in Silver Lake, we may have to revise the run course somewhat.  We are working on a revised course that will feature more meadows and woods and less lake frontage.
