Course Cutoff Times

You will need to complete each leg of the course within the designated cutoff time listed below, or you will be disqualified from the race.

First Run Leg: 45-minutes from the start of the first run leg.

Bike: 2 hours from the start of the first run leg.

Second Run: 3-hours from the start of the first run leg.

If for any reason you are unable to complete the event, you must report to the timing tent (located at the finish line) and turn in your timing chip. This is mandatory for your safety and for the peace of mind for your friends and family.

Transition Area

The transition area is staged in a large grassy area located just east of County Road North 500E by the entrance to Silver Lake Farms. The transition area will be fenced with plenty of bike racks and secured by event staff and a team of volunteers. The race-finish is beside the transition area.

12 Mile Bike Course

The 6-mile, two loop bike course (for a total of 12 miles) will take participants through the scenic northern La Porte County in the Rolling Prairie area. The course roadways are asphalt, in mostly good condition with some rolling hills throughout. There are many livestock and crop farms in the area. The course will not be closed to automobile traffic so keep your eye out for cars and stay safe, particularly when going through intersections. You will need to comply with all traffic rules.

3.1 Mile Run Course

The 3.1 Mile Run Course will take athletes on a looped trail course with a finish in the transition area by the entrance to Silver Lake Farms. The course is somewhat challenging with varying surface: Some gravel, some grass, some trails through the woods, and some sand along Silver Lake. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous!
